Tony Rizzo

Manager, Partner Solutions

The technical arm of Duo’s sales team, Tony blends his knowledge of technology and business development and applies it to his proposals. Outside of the sales realm, he occasionally lends a hand to aid in database organization and other specialized tasks. Tony feels that his work history and subsequent knowledge of technology and the business process continue to aid in presenting projects to Duo’s wide range of clients.

Tony has over 15 years experience solving business problems through information technology. He began as a "green screen" programmer on IBM's AS400, which he argues is one of the best platforms ever built, and that using a ruler to program can be fun. As the Y2K surge subsided, Tony focused again on the Internet boom, trading in the reliable green screens for the uncharted waters of web-based applications. Prior to working for Duo, Tony worked as a new startup’s Director of Technology, and designed high density data centers with APC.

Tony received a B.S. in Computer Science / Engineering from Norwich University, located in the green mountains of Vermont. After spending the nearly 3 decades of his life in New England and Chicago, he has migrated to the snow-free climate of the south. He currently commutes between Atlanta and Chicago, and spends his time not at Duo chasing his toddler and reliving fantasies of 1980’s rock stardom through Rock Band.
